The video for Graham Nash's "A Better Life" won the First Prize in the Music Video category at the ASIFA Festival. Using classic animation techniques, hand painting the backgrounds and cell overlays for characters, director and acclaimed animator Jeff Scher aims to evoke a mid-century Technicolor cartoon look and a sense of mid-century optimism. "'A Better Life,' written by me and George Merrill, was composed as a 2023 extension of my song 'Teach Your Children Well,'" notes Nash. "We must, as parents and adults, try our very best to make this world better for our kids and grandkids."

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood is a California non profit organization established over thirty five years ago to promote and encourage the art and craft of animation.

"A Better Life" hails from Nash's most recent full length album Now, out now on BMG. Now has been the subject of extensive critical acclaim from The New York Times, The New Yorker, USA Today, The Broken Record podcast, SPIN and many more.

Nash will head out on tour later this summer, where he will be joined by fellow Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Judy Collins for select dates including stops at New York’s historic Carnegie Hall, Boston’s Shubert Theater, the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ and the State Theatre in Ithaca, NY.
