Travis Book, songwriter and bass player for Grammy Award-winning bluegrass quintet the Infamous Stringdusters, is pleased to roll out a series of Travis Book Happy Hour dates beginning in January 2021, presented by newly launched record label, Americana Vibes.

Travis debuted his ‘Happy Hour’ concept back in June with longtime collaborator Sarah Siskind and has since become a staple in the Asheville, NC music scene - with its home base located at The Grey Eagle. The events, which have been streamed via Facebook Live, are designed to offer a combination of music, conversation and happiness, where Travis melds together unique musical collaborations and conversations about matters of being - all revolving around a common theme.

Outside of the pilot, the Travis Book Happy Hour has featured the likes of Lindsay Lou, Mike Guggino and Barrett Smith (The Steep Canyon Rangers), Mimi Naja (Fruition) and more, spanning 10 episodes since inception.

"I started The Travis Book Happy Hour in response to the changes that swept through the entertainment industry in the spring of 2020," shared Travis. "I needed to make music, to do something different, to reinvent myself, in a sense. I was looking for the best way to serve the music community and grow creatively and realized the opportunity was there, at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, to do something different; a variety show with musical guests, interviews, and conversation about matters of being or what to do with ourselves this life. It's been a revelation to make music and converse with my friends and dig deeper roots here in my community in Western North Carolina. Season 2, which starts January 6th, is packed with another round of phenomenal guests that I'm thrilled to share the stage with."

The forthcoming season will feature guests such as Stringdusters bandmate, Andy Falco, Anders Beck (Greensky Bluegrass), Nicki Bluhm and more.

Confirmed 2021 dates and artists include:

January 6 - Kyle Tuttle & Lindsay Pruett

January 20 - Josh Daniel

February 3 - Steve McMurry

February 17 - Nicki Bluhm

March 3 - Anders Beck & Jon Stickley

April 21 - Andy Falco

Travis, in part of his full-time gig with the Infamous Stringdusters, recently released an all-instrumental holiday album, Dust the Halls: An Acoustic Christmas Holiday!, which debuted in the #1 spot on the Billboard Bluegrass charts.
