This live musical theater performance is inspired and written by JHS Pedals CEO and founder Josh Scott, whose YouTube series “The JHS Show” has received more than 30 million collective views. Josh has a reputation as the Bill Nye the Science Guy meets Mr. Rogers of guitar, using his weekly show to explain the technical and cultural aspect of guitar history in an entertaining and educational format.

In the same vein as Saturday Night Live, Schoolhouse Rock! and Monty Python, Pedals: The Musical is a live theater production that showcases the history, inventors and musicians behind some of the first inventions that changed guitar, and how they shaped pop culture. Utilizing local Kansas City cast and crew (as well as acclaimed musician Rhett Shull), this production will be performed live on YouTube as a JHS Show special event.
