Mosa’s latest single Sharing the Light, was just released 26th March on all digital platforms precedes a full album release in Summer this year on Oxford indie label, BigWhoop! Records.

About the Artist

Mosa is the alter ego of Oxford, UK based music writer and producer, David Ashbourne. Dave's music has featured on a diverse range of recordings including erstwhile Oxford folk rock band Samuel Zasada, which he formed with his now ex-wife, to the fruit machines pumping out synthesized electro bops down your local Wetherspoons.  Naturally, French cinema came calling and saw him resident for a while in Paris, lending his deep, soulful voice to an independent movie soundtrack. Mosa provides a world in which these multiple musical talents can be explored with total freedom and is a culmination of all things Dave; it is beautiful, dark, and melancholy at times and at other times uplifting.

Sharing the Light explores an enjoyment of negativity, playing the victim, and a human connection that is set up for failure.

Mosa's songs are travelogues of what it is to be human, formed of experiences and observations on human nature and behaviour. In this way, Dave can understand himself and others around him. Call it therapy if you will.
