Spafford once again proved why they are one of the most adventurous bands on the jam scene, delivering a weekend highlight at the ADK Festival with a surprise cover of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ “Impression That I Get.”
The improvisational rock band known for their genre-bending setlists put their own spin on the 1997 ska-punk anthem. The unexpected choice was the first time Spafford covered the song, sending waves of energy through the festival grounds that became one of the most talked-about performances of the weekend.
The cover underscored Spafford’s reputation for spontaneity and crowd-pleasing surprises, with their rendition blending ska-punk urgency with their signature jam-rock. For many, it was a festival-defining performance that bridged generations and genres.
