Cartoons are a joyful, essential part of the American experience. From the beloved Saturday morning antics of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck in the ‘40s and ‘50s to today’s inspired anime, they express wild swings of energy and emotion, explosive triumphs, and deserved defeats. MerleFest, presented by Window World, has announced the initial lineup for its 36th annual event, taking place April 25-28, 2024, on the campus of Wilkes Community College. Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone "Kingfish" Ingram's new album, Live In London, is nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the Contemporary Blues category.
