Noise Pop Festival, the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier indie music and arts festival, has just announced today Injury Reserve, Bag Raiders, Kornél Kovács, Mannequin Pussy, Josh Rouse, and more to join the 2020 lineup for the 28th annual festival returning to the Bay February 24 – March 1.

Falling in the middle of their 2019 fall tour, this September marked the 20th Anniversary of award­-winning Colorado bluegrass band, Yonder Mountain String Band’s critically acclaimed debut album, Elevation. Out of print for years and considered by decades-long fans to be the band’s career-defining album, it only seemed natural for YMSB to celebrate this milestone with a 20th-anniversary 180g double vinyl re-release.

With all the New Year’s Eve announcements happening as of late, some may forget that their still two months of music until we ring in the New Year. Joining forces for ten dates throughout the Northeast and Midwest, Midnight North and Cris Jacobs Band, is time a co-bill dreams are made of. Today, Electric Forest launches the 2020 Wish Machine, officially opening EF’s fan participation initiative for the festival’s tenth installment on June 25-28, 2020. The unique program, which was first introduced in 2018, invites fans to commit to spreading positivity throughout the year. In return, EF HQ rewards a lucky handful by supporting their wildest Electric Forest dreams coming true. To date, over 7,000 wishes have been submitted to The Wish Machine, with a collective 8,500+ volunteer hours pledged across 5 continents and all 50 states, and over $300,000 offered to community improvements and charities around the world. In return, EF has granted a variety of wishes to the Forest Family, including one-of-a-kind on-site experiences, performance slots, and much more.

In keeping with Christmas Jam's three-decade tradition of giving back to the Asheville community, Grammy Award-winning vocalist-songwriter, producer and revered guitarist Warren Haynes and the W&S Charitable Foundation have donated $400,000 to the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity - one of the largest ever in the event's history, bringing the new total to $2.7 million raised since 1999.

South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals (March 13–22, 2020) has announced additional Keynote and Featured Speakers for the 34th edition of its annual Conference, which celebrates the convergence of technology, film, and music industries. 

Keynotes announced today include songwriter, musician and founding member and the creative force behind Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, and director, producer and writer Erin Lee Carr.
