The California Bluegrass Association’s 49th annual Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival is adding a pair of special shows to keep the music going after Friday and Saturday Main Stage performances, and has selected the Vern’s Stage lineup of afternoon performers. Connecticut-based rock quintet Goose have announced more headlining tour dates in 2024. The newly announced run begins at Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Art Center on September 1, and continues through the 28th, ending at the Frost Amphitheater in Stanford, CA. The band recently confirmed a summer headline tour and are about to embark on their first shows with new drummer Cotter Ellis, taking place over four nights at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre, April 7 - 10.

Canadian singer/songwriter Emily Triggs releases her new album The Great Escape, an expansive 13-song collection that displays her wide-ranging talent in a whole new way. Listeners have already had a preview with first single and video "Summer In Nevada," an homage to those who witnessed and participated in U.S. nuclear weapons testing during the 1950s and '60s.
