Live music lovers in the North Bay Area know Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall as a hotbed for unexpected collaborations and special one-off celebratory performances. Not surprising considering the primary investors behind the intimate café/venue in the music savvy Marin County town are rock ‘n’ roll investors (Bob Weir and Sammy Hagar namely) bringing in one-of-a-kind collaborations.

Grateful Web is excited to present local Colorado Newgrass road warriors, Head for the Hills and Front Country, who plays Bay Area Bluegrass, a cross-genre jaunt spanning indie, folk, Americana and traditional bluegrass.  With support from local boys Timber!, this is a perfect Thursday night pickin' and grinnin' hoedown in Boulder.

Legendary singer, songwriter and performer John Prine will release his highly anticipated new album, The Tree of Forgiveness, April 13 on his own independent label, Oh Boy Records (pre-order now). Produced by Grammy Award-winning Dave Cobb, the album is Prine’s first featuring new material in over 13 years. In advance of the release, the song “Summer’s End” is premiering today.

The cheery and Beatle-esque “If You Believe It’s Alright” is the latest single and music video to be released from Gianni Paci's new EP, “I Tried To Right My Wrongs, But I Made A Left.” Featuring uptempo drums, folksy acoustic guitar and a cheeky organ solo, the song bears all of the trademark character and charm coming out of Pine Hollow Road Studios in Oyster Bay, NY, where the artist wrote, produced, recorded and performed all instruments.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE earlier today (February 6) revealed details about his forthcoming "NO MORE TOURS 2," a reference to his 1992 "No More Tours" trek.  The announcement by the legendary musical icon about the North American dates--with his longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards)--was made to international media in attendance at his Los Angeles home.

Acclaimed bluegrass/Americana quintet HORSESHOES & HAND GRENADES is set to release their new album The Ode February 16 via Tape Time Records. The Ode will be the debut offering from the new label, which was founded by their friends in the Infamous Stringdusters. The two like-minded bands return to the road together this Wednesday (2/7) in Louisville, KY (full itinerary below).  The album's second single, "Steer True," is out now; the album's title track was released in September.
