HARD returns with its annual 'Day of the Dead' Halloween edition on Saturday, October 31 And Sunday, November 1 at Southern California's Fairplex. Leading the charge for the two-day 21+ festival is deadmau5, Hot Chip, Nero, Flying Lotus and Future on October 31 and Skrillex, Gesaffelstein, Glass Animals and A$ap Ferg on November 1.
The second day of the Meadow City Music Festival in Las Vegas, New Mexico, was packed full of talent; some well seasoned; some just getting over their first stage butterflies.
Jazz guitar pioneer, Larry Coryell, and Kevin Mahogany, a masterful jazz vocalist, are set to headline the 2015 Amelia Island Jazz Festival, it was announced this week by AIJF Artistic Director Les DeMerle. A hugely influential guitar player, Coryell is a major figure in the jazz fusion movement of the 1970s and continues to turn out highly regarded recordings. He will appear on Friday, October 9, at the Omni Resorts Amelia Island Plantation.

Albuquerque all-girl band Floozy knocked one way out of the park Friday night, the first day of the fourth annual Meadow City Music Festival in Las Vegas, New Mexico. This historic town hosts this festival every year to benefit the restoration projects of MainStreet de Las Vegas. Situated across from the restored Plaza Hotel, Plaza Park offered festivalgoers a glimpse of yesteryear in a long tradition of outdoor music events on a green space, marked by a gazebo.
There was a decidedly day-glo hue to the bluegrass played at this year’s Northwest String Summit (July 16-19). Going into my first year of Maha Music Festival, I didn't quite know what to expect.
