The Stringdusters to headline John Hartford Memorial Festival

Where in the world can you go to sit back, relax, leave your worries at the gate, enjoy the campground atmosphere and participate in campfire jamming?  Where can you go to experience the most exciting, thoroughly entertaining bunch of pickers and singers ever assembled in the most laid-back atmosphere in the country? Join us May 30 - June 2, 2018 at the Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground in Bean Blossom Indiana, for the 8 Annual John Hartford Memorial Festival, "The Most Laid-Back Festival in America!" That's where it all takes place.

Our dedicated staff kept their promise to bring the highest quality Bluegrass, Americana and Roots music to JHMF. We strive to present (and participate in) a cool family reunion vibe that is filled with top-notch pickers. This Steam-Powered-Aeroplane is maintaining its course, full speed ahead towards the mission of "preserving and continuing the legacy, music, and ideals of John Hartford; one of America's most beloved songwriters, performers, and musicians." So here we go! Folks, we are tickled to announce our initial lineup of entertainers for the 2018 John Hartford Memorial Festival.

The Infamous Stringdusters, Jeff Austin Band with special guests Darol Anger and Jay Starling, Split Lip Rayfield, Billy Strings, Hot Buttered Rum, Danny Barnes Trio, John McEuen "Will The Circle Be Unbroken", The John Hartford Stringband, Jon Stickley Trio, Town Mountain, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Forlorn Strangers, Mark Lavengood Band, Grassfed, Ida Clare, Flatland Harmony Experiment, The Wheelhouse Rousters, Urban Pioneers, The Mighty Pines, Sloppy Joe, Tangleweed, Chain Station, Sheriff Scott and the Deputies, Darol Anger - Artist At Large. Many more to be announced.

Tickets are now on sale and today we released the first tier of 500, Discounted 4-Day Early Bird tickets. We suggest you get 'em now before they sell out and then the price increases. This tier of tickets has sold out quickly the past three years. Our ticket prices are structured to give a break to the first 500 sold. Once a tier sells out ticket prices increase to the next tier.
