Last night, in Rocky Mount, VA history was made as Orion Gregory Allman made his stage debut playing a Hammond B3 with just like his grandfather, and late Allman Brothers Band co-founder Gregg Allman.

The Brothers - celebrating 50 Years of the music of The Allman Brothers Band that performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City for one night only March 10, 2020 will be issued widely July 23. The Brothers--Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbridge, Marc Quinones-were joined by Duane Trucks and Reese Wynans and special guest Chuck Leavell.

The ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND in 1970 was on the brink of superstardom. They had only been together for 11 months when promoter Bill Graham, who had booked them in San Francisco and New York, invited them back to the Fillmore East on a triple bill with Grateful Dead and Love. And fortunately for us, the Dead’s soundman Owsley “Bear” Stanley had his tapes rolling. Now, the seven-song original compilation is being re-issued with two extra CDs containing all the mastered but unedited source material.

Four months before Macon Georgia’s Allman Brothers Band achieved mega stardom with their breakthrough Eat A Peach album, the foundational lineup of Duane and Gregg Allman alongside Berry Oakley, Dickey Betts, Jaimoe Johanson, and Butch Trucks were in their peak form as a touring act. They entranced their audiences with exhilarating live performances that stretched blues and soul into genre-defying improvisational terrain.

The ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND are excited to announce the re-issue of their acclaimed and platinum-selling LIVE AT GREAT WOODS DVD on March 26, their 52nd birthday. Filmed for a Japanese TV special 9/6/1991, the original DVD release incorporated interview segments into the songs, but this re-mastered version—with the rights recently being returned to the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND RECORDING COMPANY, with distribution by The Orchard--keeps the songs in full. It will be available on DVD and digitally, and individual audio and video

Renowned for their rousing and mesmerizing live performances, THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND is preparing to officially release another historic show via the Allman Brothers Band Recording Company label.

The Allman Family Revival will be returning for its fourth year in celebration of Gregg Allman's birthday, This year the show will take place in Nashville, TN at the iconic Ryman Auditorium. The ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND have announced plans to re-issue their legendary performance at the July 4, 1970 Atlanta International Pop Festival. Attended by over half a million people, the band's epic performances showed clear signs on what was to come on future live albums like 1971's At Fillmore East and 1972's Eat A Peach.

Throughout their illustrious 45-year career, the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND have played many legendary venues and widely-praised live shows; however, up until this point, the sold-out show on July 19, 2005 at the Warner Theatre in Erie, PA hasn't been included on that list.

An extraordinary piece of rock history will finally be heard this October with the release of the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND's last show with founder and guitarist DUANE ALLMAN. Recorded October 17, 1971 at the Painters Mill Music Fair in Owings Mills, MD, the recording marks Duane's last show, as he was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident 12 days later. Recorded on a hand-held cassette machine by 18-year-old radio journalist Sam Idas, this music will be released for the first time on October 16.
