Purple Hatter’s Ball has added Emancipator and Eddie Roberts’ West Coast Sounds to the already stellar line-up along with a Crunchay Campground Stage & Crunchay Sunday in the Music Hall, showcasing 20 innovative electronic acts.

Sol Driven Train and The Windjammer are proud to present Sol Slam on July 19th - 20th at The Windjammer on Isle of Palms, SC. The third annual event will feature nine bands performing on two stages including an outdoor stage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Newly debuted trio Ghost Owl - comprised of recently disbanded members of the jam staple Perpetual Groove - is proud to announce plans to release a debut album this fall. Ghost Owl spent a busy spring in the studio and on the road fine tuning new tunes and will embark on a summer tour with dates in the Southeast, New York and Chicago. The story of Big Star will finally hit the big screen in the feature-length documentary Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me (Magnolia Pictures)  http://www.magpictures.com. After years in the making, the movie comes to theaters, On Demand and iTunes on July 3.On June 25, Omnivore Recordings will release the soundtrack to the film featuring 22 tracks, all of which are unissued versions of classic Big Star songs.
