With the final lineup announced and the secret guests unveiled, the annual YarmonyGrass is ready to roll this weekend, August 15-17.

The greatest thing about The Travelin' McCourys, or Del’s Boys, is that they are so open to collaboration. They were bread in a family of musical versatility that never limited any possibility if they could do something interesting.

Z2 Entertainment is proud to present The Travelin’ McCourys with Bill Nershi (of String Cheese Incident) at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, January 17th at 12:00pm for $20 advanced or $22 day of show. The Travelin’ McCourys are well known for their collaborative work with great musicians such as Keller Williams, Yonder Mountain String Band and many more.

This weekend The Travelin’ McCourys hit the Midwest with their popular touring festival – The Bluegrass Ball.  For all 3 shows (Madison, Bloomington IN, and Chicago) they were joined by String Cheese Incident's Bill Nershi on guitar.  The Bluegrass Ball was born out of the spirit of bluegrass festivals – the special memories made of impromptu jams and unscheduled collaborations. This was showcased at last night’s City Winery Chicago show as audience members wer

Unlike the Martha White “self-rising” flour, it takes more than one ingredient, or individual, to lift the spirits of communities affected by natural disasters. On a brisk night in Boulder, Hot Rize brought together a closely linked ensemble of local musicians to do just that. The Travelin’ McCourys are excited to announce their next round of the wildly popular touring festival aptly named The Bluegrass Ball.  The Bluegrass Ball held their inaugural event just over 2 years ago in the Midwest, so it seems appropriate that the latest 3 day run would return to its Midwestern roots.  For all 3 shows Bill Nershi of String Cheese Incident will join The Travelin’ McCourys on guitar and each city will be joined by some of the

It really has been quite a journey for Colorado’s String Cheese Incident. There are small and humble beginnings for these fellas who have now gone on to influence a solid generation of bluegrass-fusion bands. Michael Kang, Bill Nershi, Michael Travis, and Keith Moseley talk about how in the beginning they would play unplugged next to the ski lifts at Telluride and Crested Butte, Colorado, hoping to score a free lift ticket and gain some local clout.

A New Year’s Eve Party is much like the Super Bowl. A highly anticipated hyped event that rarely lives up to preceding tension. The event must live up to the crowds expectations and tote a larger than expected production. If you don’t end up there, or if game time doesn’t deliver the goods, disappointment is naturally amidst. Luckily us Coloradan’s here on the Front Range we have a super rare opportunity to end our year with; the chance to spend three nights with an iconic Colorado musical entity.
