“The Ballad of Black Bart” inspired by an Oregon outlaw on Blue Lotus latest album Across The Canyon.  Blue Lotus singer and songwriter Brandelyn Rose chats with Grateful Web on this release, while in tour in Colorado.

GW:  How is Denver treating you?

Brandelyn:  It’s good.  It’s my first time here.  We don’t know anyone out here. 

Blue Lotus, award winning rock and roll jam band out of Eugene OR is headed out on a five state tour to promote their new album “Across the Canyon”. Grateful Web will host a series of 4 shows in the Boulder/Denver area on the following dates:

Wednesday August 26th Owsley’s Golden Road, Boulder CO  7 p.m. (Free)

Thursday August 27th Quixote’s True Blue, Denver, CO 9 p.m. ($5)

Friday August 28th Quixote’s True Blue Denver, CO 9 p,.m. ($10)

Blue Lotus is quickly becoming a favorite in the Jam band scene. Frequently touring the west coast and upper mid-west, gathering HUGE crowds of LOVE!!!

Blue Lotus has been featured as part of Relix magazine's "Bands on the Rise" in 2012 and 2013; and awarded "Best New Act", "Favorite Female Performer", "Best Instrumentalist" and "Favorite Local Band" by the WOW hall in Eugene OR. This award winning group is quickly becoming the next up and coming rock and roll jam band.

This coming Saturday May 31st, the Wow Hall in conjunction with Visionary Elements Productions presents Blue Lotus with special guests Dusu Mali for night of music and celebration.
