At last night’s sold-out performance at The Fox Theatre in Boulder, moe.’s Al Schnier nearly brought the house down with the news that guitarist Chuck Garvey, who suffered a stroke last November, would sit-in as a “special guest” for a portion of the band’s NYE performance at the Fillmore Philadelphia for the first time in over a year. The announcement came exactly one year to the day since Garvey suffered his stroke, and his return appearance is also especially significant, since the Fillmore Philadelphia was the last venue he performed at on Halloween 2022.

This National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, moe. is once again supporting The American Cancer Society (ACS) in its “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign, designed to engage more male community leaders and influencers in the Society’s mission to eliminate breast cancer.

Pulling into Summer Camp for my first time I couldn’t help but feel a bit apprehensive. Everything I’ve read or seen on the web says “It’s an amazing fest… as long as it doesn’t rain“ Yet, here I was, pulling up to the gate on Friday morning after 3 solid days of precipitation. Stepping out of my jeep into the parking lot I immediately sunk into the mud up to my ankles and thought to myself “Welp, I guess it’s time to get dirty!”

moe. has just released the first episode of “moe.’s Podcrash,” a new podcast series addressing all things moe. Featuring a wide range of conversations and topics, from the history of the band to stories from the road, the premiere episode features an in-depth conversation with guitarist Chuck Garvey, his first public appearance since suffering a stroke in November. As announced last month, Michael “Suke” Cerulo from Schleigho will be subbing in for Chuck this summer, alongside keyboardist Nate Wilson from Percy Hill and Assembly of Dust.

Cabin fever is revived and revved up to an 11. This summer is finally showing itself, both societally and weather permitting. Let’s kick it off on Memorial Day weekend and see some music! My app is downloaded, I’ve scribbled down which sets I want to go to, and now comparing notes with friends, I still can’t decide which is my best option. It’s all posted online because it is time for Summer Camp 2022! It’s Sunshine, Moonshine, Soulshine, and Starshine stages to rage your face off.

moe. has announced a short run of performances for the remainder of 2022, featuring special guests Nate Wilson on keys (Percy Hill) and Suke Cerulo on guitar (Schleigho). The announcement follows the release of a message to fans yesterday, in which the band addressed the condition of guitarist Chuck Garvey, who suffered a stroke in November.
