Terrapin Crossroads Presents has announced the core lineup for its first shows of the 2024 Summer Season. The Terrapin Roadshow, at the Bruns Amphitheater in Orinda on June 1st and 2nd,  will feature guitar trio Grahame Lesh, Dan “Lebo” Leibowitz, and Stu Allen, along with ALO bassist Steve Adams, Grateful Shred drummer Alex Koford, and the incredibly talented Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne, Oteil & Friends, Phil Lesh & Friends) on keyboards.

June Lake Jam Fest, the annual fundraising event for the June Lake Loop Performing Arts Association (JLLOOPPAA) has announced the lineup for their much-lauded boutique music festival. The jam band festival, in its eighth year and dubbed “Flying High Edition'', takes place in Gull Lake Park in June Lake, CA from September 8th through the 10th.

On the 48th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s legendary visit to San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall (8/13/75), Dead Heads recently returned to see an all-star lineup of jam band stars recreate the show – and more – to benefit the Grateful Guitars Foundation. Not only were there star players, but also star instruments. It took a spreadsheet for musical director Alex Jordan (Cubensis, Midnight North) to keep things straight—check it out.

“Welcome home, Terrapin Nation,” Phil Lesh proclaimed on July 9 to the large crowd before him on the expansive, lush lawn of McNears Beach Park on the shores of San Pablo Bay in San Rafael, Calif. Lesh, co-founder of the Grateful Dead and now 83, joined the so-called Terrapin All-Stars for the closing set of a first-ever, one-day Sunday Daydream festival, which began in the early morning with an aptly named Turtle Trot that included 5K, 10K, and kids races.

Thursday, April 20th, was the first full day of music at the 2023 Skull & Roses Music Festival. Many in the crowd happily celebrated 4-20 in a smokey haze during the 12-hour musical marathon. The fact that cannabis is now legal in California made the occasion all the more celebratory. A strong wind picked up, clearing the sky of clouds, making for a warm afternoon and a crystal-clear evening.

STU and the crew return with an unforgettable, electrifying take on the Bob Dylan Songbook with GHOSTS OF ELECTRICITY making a rare appearance for an early Sunday Funday dinner show on March 5th at Hopmonk Sebastopol. Featuring an amazing lineup: Stu Allen, Mark Karan, Greg Anton, Mookie Siegel and JP McLean. Outside under a heated tent, great food & drink.

The inaugural Sacred Rose Fest is less than 2 weeks away. For the first time ever there will be a weekend full of music as diverse as the Grateful Dead in its current form. Phil Lesh playing with Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy as well as Karl Denson, Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Jeff Chimenti, and Elliott Peck all in one headlining slot!?! Khruangbin, JRAD, Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Elliott Peck’s Midnight North, Holly Bowling, and the Gone Gone Beyond are kicking it all off?!? The list is exciting and inviting.
