The Rockabilly Artists Alliance has announced the launch of The Rockabilly Rumble Original Song Contest, a global song competition open to unsigned artists and songwriters worldwide. The winning song will be awarded a studio session with Rockabilly icon and Stray Cats drummer, Slim Jim Phantom, [pictured] and more.

The worlds of dance and rockabilly uniquely come together in “Gather Round,” a collaboration between LEE ROCKER of The Stray Cats fame and the award-winning COMPLEXIONS Contemporary Ballet featuring three songs from the Grammy-nominated upright bass player, singer and songwriter’s current solo album

Iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and three-time Grammy-Award winner BRIAN SETZER and his 19-piece ORCHESTRA will tour the country on their 16th annual "Christmas Rocks! SiriusXM announced today that the iconic and acclaimed American rock and roll trio, The Stray Cats, will perform an intimate invitation-only show for SiriusXM subscribers on Friday, August 2 near the band's hometown of Massapequa, New York on Long Island, where they first formed in 1979. This performance--which will kick-start their much-anticipated 40th anniversary U.S. tour--marks the first time the trio will take the stage at Revolution Bar & Grill for a show after unsuccessfully auditioning at the venue 40 years ago.

The STRAY CATS will release 40--their first new album in 26 years--this Friday, May 24 on the heels of three singles they've recently issued from the album: "Cat Fight (Over A Dog Like Me)," "Rock It Off" and "Cry Danger," the latter of which was premiered this past Friday at Guitar World
