Ray Charles’ Tangerine Records has announced today that it is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of one of Charles most important and impactful albums; A Message from The People. This special remastered 50th Anniversary edition of the landmark recording, will be available June 17th on Vinyl, CD and all streaming services for the first time in more than 10 years.

The FoCoMX 2022 music lineup goes public on April 1st and showcases Colorado’s rich musical talent.  Presented by the Fort Collins Musicians Association (FoCoMA) and sponsored by Odell Brewing Co. the 14th annual Fort Collins Music eXperiment (FoCoMX) weekend will host 300+ Colorado bands and solo artists at 30 Downtown Fort Collins venues representing a wide variety of genres and styles.  

The Disco Biscuits descended into the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY for night two of their rescheduled three night run from March 2020 last Friday, and unfurled a set list of fan favorites, covers and rarities to celebrate guitarist Jon "The Barber" Gutwillig's birthday. Their characteristic blend of jamtronica music was fueled by Gutwillig's guitar driven jamming this evening, and included a first time played Dead cover.

Outlaw country singer Zach Willdee combines energetic performances with his raw talent to bear a voice bigger than his body and stories older than his boots. After nearly a decade of honing his chops on the live circuit, Willdee plans to release his debut LP Heart That Ain’t Tame on May 6.

GRAMMY award-winning band Old Crow Medicine Show has announced a special performance called Old Crow Medicine Show’s Hootenanny At The Caverns Amphitheater, taking place on June 25 in Grundy County, TN. This will be the first full capacity show at the venue, which originally opened in the fall of 2020 as a socially-distanced venue in response to COVID-19 with limited capacity.

The “Godfather of Americana Music” is bringing the boogie to 2022 with his latest single “One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer.” Originally made famous by Amos Millburn (‘53) and John Lee Hooker (‘66), the iconic drinking anthem is soulfully reinvented today by 81-year-old living legend Delbert McClinton.
