Today, Sawyer Hill - who many consider to be THE one to watch in indie rock - has released his highly anticipated Heartbreak Hysteria EP via (dis)harmony/AWAL. The seven track EP features three brand new songs including new fan favorite “One Shot”- written about that ‘last call’ moment at a bar when you are trying to get up the courage to talk to that person you’ve had your eye on all night long.

Rhiannon Giddens and Justin Robinson’s collaborative new album What Did the Blackbird Say to the Crow, is out today via Nonesuch Records. Today, George Brown, beloved co-founder of Kool & The Gang releases his second posthumous project, Jazz in Paris, via Astana Music Inc/BFD/The Orchard. Inspired by the smoky jazz clubs of Paris and New York in the late 1950s and '60s—a sound that shaped Brown’s musical world from an early age—the album reflects his passion for jazz while showcasing his extraordinary range as an artist.

On Saturday, May 3rd, Flushing Town Hall will bring the genre-defying sound of The Brandee Younger Trio to Queens. Known for her fusion of classical, jazz, soul, and funk, Younger has redefined the harp in contemporary music. In 2022, she made history by becoming the first black woman to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition.
