Dropkick Murphys are returning to their roots to celebrate the July 4 release of their 13th studio album, For The People.

 

The band invites fans from around New England and elsewhere to join them at the free For The People Album Release Show on Saturday, July 12 in Quincy, Massachusetts, where the band formed in 1996. This free hometown event is in connection with the Quincy400, celebrating the 400th year of the city’s settlement.

 

Oscar and two-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Stephen Bishop launched his illustrious career with his debut smash album Careless in 1976. Now, he’s closing the chapter on 50 remarkable years in the music industry with his 20th and final album THIMK, out August 15 - a lifetime of stories captured in one unforgettable album.

 

Known for blending their bluegrass roots with futuristic grooves and rock and roll energy, Kansas City Americana outfit MoonShroom has made a lively start to their promising career by sharing their infectious energy with audiences far and wide.

The 62nd Philadelphia Folk Festival is excited to announce the complete lineup of artists performing on the Main Stage Evening Concerts during the weekend of August 15-17 at the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township. Newly added artists include Alejandro Escovedo; Cedric Watson et Bijou Creole; Eileen Ivers; The Gibson Brothers; The Lee Boys; and Ordinary Elephant. Veteran Philadelphia area singer-songwriter, John Flynn, will emcee the Main Stage for the festival weekend as well as perform.
 

Today, Nashville's GRAMMY-nominated all-female bluegrass band Sister Sadie release their highly anticipated fourth studio album, All Will Be Well, their second release for preeminent bluegrass label Mountain Home Music Company.
