Coming up Saturday October 14th and Sunday October 15th, we are very excited for these shows celebrating Gloria and Vince Di Biase’s 50th Anniversary. It’s a Human Be-In, with two Grateful Dead Tributes playing at Toot’s on Saturday Night- an early show with Dead Enough and a late Dance Party show with Fateful Shred, featuring members of Love Mischief, Danny Eisenberg & Anna Elva. Then on Sunday STEELY DEAD will be headlining at Ivy Room with an opening set by Pat Nevins and Zach Jones.

The Boston, Mass-based jam rock quartet Neighbor killed the festival circuit this summer and was due for a two-set heater as their summer tour waned. As a result, a raging inferno of covers, new tunes, and old classics unfurled at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY on September 8, 2023. Baked Shrimp, the prog rock trio from Long Island, NY, provided their support.

Travis Book, bassist and vocalist of, GRAMMY Award-winning bluegrass ensemble The Infamous Stringdusters, is stepping into uncharted musical territory with his upcoming solo album, Love and Other Strange Emotions. Set to be released via Americana Vibes on October 27, 2023, this album marks a significant departure from his acoustic and bluegrass roots with a no-holds-barred, head-first dive into Americana and Rock music; with more in common with Pink Floyd and Jason Isbell than Flatt & Scruggs and Tony Rice.

On the heels of their spirited reimagination of the Grateful Dead classic “Attics of My Life,” Bay Area collective Moonalice shares the tender acoustic version. Recorded completely live and led by the T-Sisters vocal trio of Erika, Chloe, and Rachel Tietjen, Moonalice pays homage to the great American songwriter Robert Hunter with arresting three-part harmonies. The song has become a staple in the band’s live set as the T’s give a gorgeous rendition of the Dead classic.

Released in the fall of 1985, The Replacements’ major label debut, Tim peaked at #192 on the Billboard charts, selling just 75,000 copies. Over time, however, the record would find a mass audience among successive generations thanks to the enduring appeal of anthems like “Bastards of Young” and “Left of the Dial” and ballads like “Swingin Party” and “Here Comes a Regular.”
