To trace the lineage of numerous popular American genres, one only has to turn to the musical history of Chicago and absorb the city’s legacy as a cultural hub of jazz, blues, and rock n’ roll. Now, in honor of The Windy City’s rich background for diverse artistic innovation comes a first-of-its-kind music festival: SACRED ROSE.

The War on Drugs announce a slew of new shows in support of I Don’t Live Here Anymore, released last year on Atlantic Records and widely considered to be one of the best and “most complete rock albums of the year” (Billboard). The new dates extend the recently announced spring leg throughout the southeast and include a month of fall shows taking them to cities not yet played in support of I Don’t Live Here Anymore.

In dreams the lake whispered, in waking the lake called out psychically - but then also on the phone. Desert Daze is returning to Lake Perris, CA for a weekend of concerts from November 12 - 14, 2021. Headlining this year’s event is The War on Drugs performing their only 2021 show, Kamasi Washington, Toro y Moi and Japanese Breakfast.

HeadCount and Fort William Artist Management have announced VOTE READY, A Concert for Voter Registration, happening Friday, August 14th at 7pm Eastern, to motivate fans to verify and update their voter registration.

The War on Drugs rocked the Pitchfork Music Festival Saturday night to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience.  The Philadelphia indie-rock band (which is what you would expect at Pitchfork) was ably led by front-man/co-founder/ primary songwriter/guitarist  Adam Granduciel, who did not speak to the crowd much during The War on Drug's hour-plus set, but rather let the music do the talking.  The music was carried by the rhythm section of Charlie Hall on drums and David H
