Nashville-based quintet Rainbow Kitten Surprise have announced a special, livestreamed event - hosted by Topeka, a service that allows fans to connect face-to-face with artists via live interactive video - on Tuesday, July 14, at 9pm ET, to commemorate the genre-defying band’s sold out, two-night stand at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, originally scheduled for July 13-14 this year, but rescheduled to 2021 due to Covid-19. See the band’s post announcing the new dates HERE.  Modeled after the VIP acoustic sets the band would perform for their most diehard fans before each tour stop, only a limited number of tickets will be made available to view the broadcast.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise said: “In another universe, we’re all gearing up for the trek out to Colorado for Red Rocks. On this earth, we’re filming the Meet & Greet at Charlie’s house! We’ll be performing a stripped down, acoustic set that airs 7/14!  Miss you guys!  A whole bunch.”

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting today at 12noon ET, with special consideration to all ticket holders to the original Red Rocks shows. General on sale begins Wednesday, July 8, at 12noon ET.  In addition to general admission access, two premium packages will also be available that include limited edition merchandise and, for the top tier, a signed set list from the band.  By partnering with PLUS1, $1 from every ticket will benefit a variety of organizations supporting Black Trans Lives Matter.  For tickets and more information about the event, please visit https://rks.topeka.live.

Initially conceived with the intent of launching with their Red Rocks shows, Rainbow Kitten Surprise has also collaborated with leading premium cannabis concentrates company Green Dot Labs to release THAT’S MY S#!T, an exclusive live resin cartridge and companion universal, variable temperature battery.  Named for one of the fan-favorite songs off of the band’s 2013 independently released album “SEVEN + MARY,” THAT’S MY S#!T delivers the exceptional experience of a pure live resin vape with a flavor profile personally selected by members of RKS.  Both the battery and live resin cartridge feature a custom design created by artist Luke Martin, a frequent collaborator responsible for much of the band’s artwork and merch designs.  The THAT’S MY S#!T live resin cartridge and battery are available now at leading licensed dispensaries across Colorado while the battery can be purchased online at the RKS Webstore and Green Dot Labs beginning July 14, in conjunction with the livestream.  A portion of proceeds from every purchase will benefit the Denver Justice Project, a Denver-based organization that works with historically marginalized communities to address systemic racism by transforming law enforcement and the structure of the criminal justice.

As announced yesterday via their socials, Nashville-based quintet and live sensations Rainbow Kitten Surprise have sold out their entire ‘Live in Colorado’ tour – selling over 25K tickets for the run which only went on-sale this past Friday.

The highly-anticipated four-night trek is slated for July 2 + 3 at Dillon Amphitheater and July 5 + 6 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Fellow Nashville-based outfit The Brook & the Bluff will support all four dates.

‘Live in Colorado’ marks another pair of sold-out Red Rocks shows for the band, following their most recent two-night stand in July 2022, which also sold out almost immediately.

The genre-defying group is no stranger to sold-out shows, having completely sold out their 2022 and 2019 headline tours. Their landmark 2018 Friend, Love, Freefall Tour also included 50 sold-out shows and over 80,000 tickets sold.
