On Sunday August 30, BeeJeeCo. Events is throwing an end of summer celebration at Denver’s favorite dog friendly bar – The Watering Bowl – at 5411 Leetsdale Dr. In Denver, CO. The Watering Bowl has a great indoor concert space including 3 bars and a 7800 square foot dog friendly patio. In addition to a full day of music headlined by an All-Star group featuring members of one of Denver’s favorite bluegrass bands, The Infamous Stringdusters, the event will also include live art, crafts, vendors, and a raffle event which will help proceed the Denver Dumb Friends League. After a few years of hiatus BeeJeeCo’s “Dog Days of Summer Bluegrass” series returns to Denver.  The series focuses on bluegrass collaborations from some of Colorado and the front range’s most talented bluegrass acts. The concerts, which has always been hosted at dog friendly bars are an opportunity to cool off from the Dog Days of summer and shake away the pandemic blues with bluegrass and folk music every Sunday.  The event returns after hosting some successful series in 2016 which brought together powerhouse artists like Andy Hall & Chris Pandolfi from Infamous Stringdusters and Paul Hoffman from Greensky Bluegrass.

The host bar Eastfax Tap on East Colfax Avenue and Tamarac St. includes an all-you-can drink deal with vodka Blood Marys for only $20.  The event has no admission costs and will begin July 11 and continue every Sunday until Labor Day weekend.  The massive patio at Eastfax tap is the perfect place for an afternoon boogie and Bar Manager/Owner Tor Ericksen welcomes a weekly music series.  “Not only is the massive patio for our little watering hole on East Colfax proving to be a worthy host for music events, the type of events we’re starting to host really reflect the diversity of people we have visit our bar on East Colfax.  Eastfax taps encourages folks from all backgrounds to feel welcome at our home.” With weekly punk shows with local charity Punk Rock Saves Lives, to Wednesday Trivia, to Friday Karoake, and now Sunday Bluegrass, the bar seems to be meeting their commitments to welcome all of Denver.

Music and bloody marys are from 12:30-3:30 and the first two weeks of the Bluegrass and Bloody Bar series feature:

July 11 – Oren Paisner & Jack Cloonan

July 18 – Whitewater Ramble Duo
