Wed, 03/23/2022 - 11:56 am

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Camp Euforia has announced its final acts playing this summer. Festival hosts and founders Eufórquestra featuring Kim Dawson will play along with many longtime friends including Cornmeal, Chicago Afrobeat Project, Heatbox, Aaron Kamm & The One Drops, and 20+ Midwest acts. The last blast celebration will be held July 14-16, 2022, on the beloved land of Jerry’s Farm in Lone Tree, Iowa.

In 2004, Jerry’s Farm became the gathering place for Eufórquestra and other Midwest musicians to shower fans with appreciation. It grew to a full-blown music festival and became a haven for music fans providing a uniquely intimate live music experience. 2022 will mark the close of its standing as one of Iowa’s longest running independent music festivals.

In early 2020 the band made a statement announcing the end of the festival sharing a desire to “close Camp Euforia on a high note in order to be able to focus creative energy on other passions and pursuits.” When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the final celebration was postponed twice and ultimately slated July 14-16, 2022, as the festival dates. When Eufórquestra takes the Camp Euforia stage for the last time they will perform three sets over the weekend, one with the original members of Eufórquestra whom founded the festival.

“It’s always been our goal to create a seamless gelling of community and music, and we are proud of the impact that we’ve been able to make in the lives of thousands of people through this festival, says Eric Quiner, Executive Director of Camp Euforia and former member of Eufórquestra. “It was important for us to close out this chapter with a lineup that encompasses many of the acts that the success of the festival was built on – it will be one epic celebration that will be worthy to hang our hat on.”

Tickets for Camp Euforia are on sale now, priced at $130 for a three-day festival pass, $110 for a two-day festival pass, and $70 for a Saturday only ticket. RV parking passes are available in advance for $70.
