January 2014

HUKA Entertainment is proud to present Slightly Stoopid on Thursday, April 24th, 2014 at the newly renovated Joy Theater. Known for their “feel-good vibe” and collaborative efforts, the California-based surf-rock outfit will kick off Jazz Fest’s legendary nighttime concerts for 2014. Slightly Stoopid are no strangers to New Orleans and have often invited veteran local musicians including Karl Denson, Ivan Neville, members of Galactic, and more to join them on stage.

It’s that time of the year again, as Colorado favorites Mountain Standard Time return to Colorado’s Front Range to throw their annual Mardi Grass celebration. MST created Mardi Grass four years ago to bring a New Orleans Mardi Gras party to the beautiful landscape of Colorado. Past years have included special guests Jeff Austin of Yonder Mountain String Band, Todd Sheaffer and John Skehan of Railroad Earth, Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon and Benny Galloway of songwriting acclaim.

The Northwest String Summit has announced its initial lineup for 2014. Yonder Mountain String Band will headline and play 3 nights! Other acts include: Steep Canyon Rangers, The Motet, Dead Winter Carpenters, Fruition, Shook Twins and more.
