Complete competition rules, submission information, deadlines and details are online (http://www.10klf.com/cosmic_break.php).

The Cosmic Break Competition is sponsored by Onlinegigs.com (http://www.onlinegigs.com) giving musicians and managers a convenient, online music industry directory solution to take control of their music careers. Each band that applies for the Cosmic Break Competition receives a six month Onlinegigs.com subscription and the three Cosmic Break winners a complimentary full year.

In addition to the canned food drive, the 10,000 Lakes Festival will contribute a portion of each ticket sold to benefit the Rex Foundation(http://www.rexfoundation.org), a non-profit, charitable organization established in 1983 by friends and members of the Grateful Dead. The Rex Foundation proactively provides extensive community support to creative endeavors in the arts, sciences, and education and has furnished over $7 million in grants to hundreds of organizations since 1984.
