Extraordinary drummer and composer Allison Miller is in a constant state of motion. Whether guesting with the 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers; working as the musical director for dancer/choreographer Camille A. Brown; or performing with the likes of Natalie Merchant or Artemis (with Renee Rosnes, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Anat Cohen, and others), Miller's frenzied flow is that spark of creative energy perfectly suited for her singular band, Boom Tic Boom.

The sad passing on October 12 of Andy Goessling, founding member of Railroad Earth, the ongoing host band for the Hangtown Music Festival (Oct. 25-28), was a unifying thread at this year’s fest, prompting outspoken love, respect, and admiration. After a groundbreaking 4-night Halloween run this past weekend, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are excited to share their first-string of 2019 tour dates. Included among the newly announced dates are the band's first headlining play in Chicago since 2017 (2/15 at Concord Music Hall); their first run through Florida since 2016 – with stops in Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa Bay and Ft. Lauderdale; and a prompt return to Virginia with plays in Charlottesville (1/30) and Norfolk (1/31).
