Bear Creek Adds Chris Robinson's Soulive Revue, Talib Kweli and more

Bear Creek Music & Art Festival has added headlining artist Chris Robinson’s Soulive Revue. This one-time-only collaboration will feature Black Crowes/Chris Robinson Brotherhood singer Chris Robinson with Soulive (Eric Krasno, Alan Evans and Neal Evans), The Shady Horns (Eric Bloom and Ryan Zoidis) and several very special guests. Also added to the bill is legendary hip-hop artist Talib Kweli, who will join the Break Science and Soulive sets. TAUK and Locos Por Juana will each play a second set at the event, and Dallas’s talented soul & jazz community mainstays The Funky Knuckles with join the line-up with Atlanta’s Freddy’s Finest.

In conjunction with this announcement the promoters will extent the tier-two ticket price until Wednesday, October 1st at midnight. Fans can also purchase a Bear Creek and Suwannee Hulaween Combo Ticket that includes a three-day, Friday through Sunday Bear Creek ticket and a three-day, Friday through Sunday, Suwannee Hulaween ticket. Primitive camping and all taxes and fees are included in the combo ticket price.

Taking place November 13th – 16th, 2014 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, FL, the eighth annual event also features musical heavyweights Umphrey's McGee, Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce, Budos Band, New Mastersounds, The Floozies, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Zach Deputy, Nicholas Payton Trio, Orgone, The Nth Power, Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds and more. As is tradition at Bear Creek, many of the bands perform on two separate dates during the weekend and several talented instrumentalists act as artists-at-large, creating memorable surprise sit-ins and inspired performances.

Recognized as one of the most beautiful live music venues in the country, Bear Creek goers at SOSMP can enjoy music on three outdoor stages and one indoor stage including the famed Amphitheater Stage, set in the midst of towering pine and oak trees decorated with Spanish moss. The park also offers guest comforts including a general store, full-service restaurant, showers and water stations.
