Amid all the excitement about the Grateful Dead 50th Anniversary concerts in Chicago, we're pleased to announce two Rex benefit concerts on July 2.

At 8 p.m., we're High Steppin'  Into Town at the Chicago Theatre, with Greensky Bluegrass and Keller Williams' Grateful Grass featuring the Infamous Stringdusters. General admission tickets starting at $35 are now on sale at Ticketmaster. We also invite you to join us at a special pre-show reception starting at 7 p.m.; ticket price of $150 includes admission to the event, early access to the best seats in the house, plus refreshments including beer, wine, and tasty snacks.

Meanwhile, our good friends Dark Star Orchestra have announced a hometown show in support of Rex, also on July 2. Doors of the Vic Theatre open at 7 p.m., and the music starts at 8. Tickets on sale now.

We're very grateful to all these artists for their music and their support, and we look forward to seeing you at one of these memorable concerts this summer.

We're also amazed by the good folks at NFADead50.net, who say: "We want to share our appreciation by organizing the largest ever collective donation to the Rex Foundation, on behalf of the Grateful Dead and its many fans. We hope that you will join us in sending a clear and unmistakable message: OUR LOVE WILL NOT FADE AWAY." If you'd like to join the giving party, find out more here - and thank you!
