The Soul Rebels today announced the release of two previously unreleased songs from their latest album, Poetry In Motion, which have been mixed in exclusively in Sony’s 360 Reality Audio. The tracks, “Groove Train” and “Musica”, are being released for the first time as an extension of their 2019 album.

After nearly a quarter century of making music together, Colorado jam-grass vets Yonder Mountain String Band are showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, with their new album Get Yourself Outside due out in February and a slew of tour dates on the books—their first full tour with new member, mandolinist Nick Piccininni—YMSB are as inspired and energized as ever.

Rather than repeating the formal studio experiences for past albums, The Wooks—CJ Cain on guitar and vocals, Harry Clark on mandolin and vocals, George Guthrie on banjo and vocals, and Allen Cooke on Dobro—recorded Flyin’ High, their forthcoming album releasing on February 25th, over two sessions in Nashville in the home studio of bluegrass guitarist Jake Stargel.

Country Music Hall of Fame member Ralph Emery has passed away at age 88. Emery was a legendary disc jockey and television host who rose to fame during the late-night hours on Nashville's WSM, where he hosted and allowed many new artists a chance to be heard for the first time. Throughout his career, Emery hosted Pop! Goes The Country, Nashville Now, Ralph Emery Live, Ralph Emery’s Memories, and more. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007 and in 2010, he was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Today, five-time GRAMMY winner Keb’ Mo’ released his new single “Good to Be (Home Again).” The song will appear on his forthcoming album Good To Be, out January 21 via Rounder Records (currently available for pre-order). "'Good To Be (Home Again)' feels like the title track to my life,” explains Kevin Moore, who is best known by his stage name Keb’ Mo’.
 

Following the radio success of last summer’s country-flavored single, “Think Again,” and its CMT-featured video, Mountain Home Music Company recording artist Jaelee Roberts returns to kick off the new year with a straightforward, energetic bluegrass song, “You Can’t Stop Me From Staying," first premiered by Wide Open Country.
