Last Monday & Tuesday, Billy Kreutzmann brought his latest incarnation of the Kids to the mainland to play a two-night blowout at the sandstone mecca Red Rocks. Originally slated as a single show, tickets sold out almost instantly and in light of this demand, the call for more was answered. The response: another sold out show.

NPR/West Virginia Public Broadcasting's live performance radio show Mountain Stage has announced they will present at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.. The show will take place on Sunday, October 24th at the prestigious venue's Concert Hall and is among 120+ events celebrating The Kennedy Center's 50th Anniversary 2021-2022 Season.

The Accidentals, an indie folk-pop, rock trio, announce the October 1 release of their new album Vessel, co-produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey) and Tucker Martine (Decemberists, First Aid Kit). The 49th Annual RockyGrass Festival is returning in-person to Lyons, Colorado, this July 23rd - July 25th, and Mandolin, the tech-focused digital fan engagement company, will be livestreaming the weekend to give at-home viewers their own festival experience. In-person tickets are sold-out, but with Mandolin’s new Live+ platform, those who can’t physically attend will still be able to get in on all the action.

Last Friday night in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, We Thee Funk elevated Industry City by a factor of funk. The eleven piece band was dressed in sparkles and ready to start the party. Hometown Barbecue, which is known to have some of the best BBQ in NYC, was on hand providing drinks and food, as well as two artists who painted while the band played.

Yard Sale, the sophomore solo album from now Austin, Texas-based Suzanne Santo, is comprised of 12 songs written between Hozier rehearsals, some with Santo holing up in a farmhouse on the rural Irish coast, while others were finished during bus rides, backstage writing sessions, and hotel stays.

The Grammy Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band release their historic, one-off live recording of the seminal Derek and the Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, performed in its entirety at LOCKN’ Festival in August 2019 alongside special guest, Trey Anastasio, and longtime collaborator, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II.

Air Cool Jenny is a duo formed over two years ago by Helen Rose and Kramer Sanguinetti. They met in New York City during a serendipitous evening of live music, which culminated in a spontaneous punk rendition of the Appalachian folk tune, “Shady Grove”. It was love at first sight and they haven’t looked back, moving to Sanguinetti’s hometown of New Orleans for a few years and most recently, settling outside of Los Angeles, CA, where Rose was raised.
