As the live music industry stirs back to life after the pandemic, independent touring musicians facing personal crises are about to get a helping hand. Starting today, a new Atlanta-based nonprofit called The Goodmood Fund will begin accepting applications for emergency relief grants of up to $2,000 to independent touring artists nationwide who are facing financial hardship due to unforeseen emergencies such as a death in the family, natural disaster, serious illness and theft of gear.

Today, Grammy-winner Aoife O’Donovan has released two new, original songs — “More Than We Know” and “Captain’s Clock.” It’s the debut of a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Joe Henry (Rhiannon Giddens, Bonnie Raitt) that will yield more music in the coming months. “More Than We Know” was co-written by Henry, and features special guests The Milk Carton Kids.

Born & Raised Music Festival, the new Outlaw, Texas and Red Dirt country music and camping experience from AEG Presents, has revealed the daily lineups for its 2021 inaugural experience.

Dave Matthews Band announced today that they will add two nights at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to their upcoming tour on November 12 and 13. The two shows mark the band’s first return to the famed venue since 2018. The band has also added a new date in Columbus, OH on Nov. 5 at the Nationwide Arena.

Originally slated as a single show, tickets sold out almost instantly and in light of this demand, the call for more was answered. The response: another sold out show.

NPR/West Virginia Public Broadcasting's live performance radio show Mountain Stage has announced they will present at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.. The show will take place on Sunday, October 24th at the prestigious venue's Concert Hall and is among 120+ events celebrating The Kennedy Center's 50th Anniversary 2021-2022 Season.

The 49th Annual RockyGrass Festival is returning in-person to Lyons, Colorado, this July 23rd - July 25th, and Mandolin, the tech-focused digital fan engagement company, will be livestreaming the weekend to give at-home viewers their own festival experience. In-person tickets are sold-out, but with Mandolin’s new Live+ platform, those who can’t physically attend will still be able to get in on all the action.
