Sleepy Gaucho's discerning brand of Panamerican-influenced folk music floats somewhat aimlessly in a realm of it’s own. Born in Wisconsin while also growing up some time in Argentina, the young multi-instrumentalist’s music can at times be melancholic, at others ethereal, but always agreeable. His seven track debut record 'Another Time', while initially recorded in Madison, WI, was eventually finished after the songwriter happened to find himself drifting around an East London neighborhood for a few months.

Ben Gourley of the Rumpke Mountain Boys (RMB) released his first solo album Lost in the Shuffle on May 15.  The album was created and recorded  at his home recording space during the quarantine of 2020. The unique feature of this album is Gourley recorded all parts himself, making this album completely his own composition.

A Young Man’s Country, the debut album from 25-year-old Nashville guitar ace, songwriter and vocalist Daniel Donato is set for release on August 7th (13J Productions/Cosmic Country Music). A Young Man’s Country serves as an introduction to a gifted, young artist who merges his extraordinary guitar chops with traditional outlaw country, Americana and Grateful Dead influences to bring his brand of cosmic country into the 21st century.

Billy Strings, who has been hailed as the future of bluegrass, transcending tradition and genre with his high velocity, flat-picking guitar technique and intense, confessional songwriting, has been nominated for the 2020 Americana Music Association’s Honors & Awards “Emerging Act of the Year.”

Strings released his second full-length studio album HOME in September of 2019 via Rounder Records.

Twisted Pine—once a straightforward, Boston-based bluegrass act—has been hard at work; busily evolving into what the Boston Globe now calls “something else, a wider version of a string band; boundary jumpers akin to outfits like Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek, and Crooked Still.” Their influences certainly don’t stop there—Twisted Pine’s collective instrumental and songwriting skills should also be listed in the same echelon of contemporaries like Vulfpeck or Hiatus Kaiyote or Lake Street Dive.

Swift Current, Saskatchewan - The music industry is no stranger to cowboys—but it’s been a long while since any with an authentic affinity for the North American West came along and carried around a love for heroes like Ramblin’ Jack Elliot and Ian Tyson. Enter 24-year-old Colter Wall, whose dusty baritone voice and deep well of stories are almost single-handedly carrying traditional western music into the future.

"Breathe, Be, Feel, Learn are the first words of each verse.  I was coming from a place of desperation and I needed to raise my own vibration and this song came pouring out to me.  It’s really just a list of things I need to remember to remind myself."

"It sure feels strange promoting an EP release while the fight against systemic racism is at the forefront of everyone's minds these days," shares bandleader Jeremy Beck from Jeremy Beck & The Heavy Duty Horns. "In a musical context, Black music has created what we know as American music. Without the great Black musicians, artists and writers, plain and simple, American music would not exist."
