Big Chief Monk Boudreaux's album, Bloodstains & Teardrops has been nominated for a Grammy in the 'Best Regional Roots Album' category. The album, released on May 21, 2021, by Tab Benoit’s Whiskey Bayou Records, was produced by Benoit and Rueben Williams.

Last night, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats performed their new album title track “The Future” on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” The appearance follows the release of the band’s third studio album, The Future, which is out now on Stax Records to widespread critical praise. It turns out that Feat Fans were as excited about the return of Little Feat as the band members.  After the warm reception they gave the “By Request Tour” in November, we added more shows in the South in January, leading to Feat Camp in Jamaica.  Then we announced the “Waiting for Columbus Tour,” which will start March 4th in Columbus, Ohio.  And that was clearly not enough.

So put on your dancing shoes, because Feat is adding more shows.

Last Thursday marked the first show of the first Orebolo tour ever. Orebolo is an acoustic side project for three members of the upcoming and coming Connecticut based jam band, Goose. The concept came about during the covid-19 pandemic when Rick Mitarotonda (guitar), Peter Anspach (guitar, keyboards) and Jeff Arevalo (percussion) were stuck living together under one roof. They did what any talented quarentining musicians should do: live streams.

Today, San Diego 10-piece powerhouse The Sully Band has unveiled their new single “When The Battle Is Over.” This hidden Dr. John-penned gem was originally recorded as a one-sided boast by Delaney & Bonnie, and later by Aretha Franklin. The Sully Band gives the song a fun and funky update, flipping the tune into a rollicking duet between Sully and the soulful Rebecca Jade (Sheila E., Elton John, Dave Koz).
