Stony Plain Records announces an October 22 release date for Pinky’s Blues, the new album from award-winning blues guitarist/singer Sue Foley. Featuring several Sue Foley originals, as well as songs from some of her favorite blues and roots artists, Pinky’s Blues was recorded at Fire Station Studios in San Marcos, Texas. Joining Sue Foley (guitar, vocals) for the recording sessions were Jon Penner (bass), Chris “Whipper” Layton (drums) and Mike Flanigin (Hammond B3 organ), who also produced the album.

After a year of bouncing around the room and off the walls, Rival Entertainment is pleased to invite fans back to Candler Park for two days of music, food, and art, September 10 and 11, 2021. A homecoming of sorts, this will mark the thirteenth edition of this neighborhood festival which will play host to a diverse collection of genres.

Phish and their dedicated followers descended into Atlantic City, NJ last night, and took over the famed boardwalk for a night of chock full of jams on the Atlantic City Beach. Located on the north side of Playground Pier between Arkansas and Kentucky avenues, the venue had capacity for 40,000, which is the largest on the summer tour. The band is in town for the weekend, and will play three nights at this unique and special venue in the Garden State.

lespecial, a heavy future groove trio from Kent, CT, is hitting the road for an extensive run of shows this Fall. Dubbed “2021 Fall RepeaTOUR,” the jaunt is named after “Repeater,” a track on the band’s 2020 release, Ancient Homies. Starting on 10/1, the band will travel to upstate NY for a pair of shows, before heading to Portland, ME to support Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at the State Theatre on 10/8.
