Keyboard wizard Rick Wakeman embarks on his first solo tour of America in 13 years. Wakeman’s The Grumpy Old Rock Star Tour will combine spellbinding piano music with sidesplitting jokes and revealing insights into his 50-plus-year career. Expect an evening of superb musicianship, featuring music from YES, Rick’s own solo epics and early Bowie hits, plus fantastic arrangements of Beatles’ tunes, and much, much more, interspersed with knockabout (and sometimes bawdy!) typically British humor.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood has announced keyboardists for its forthcoming 'Servants of the Sun' tour. The legendary Pete Sears will join The CRB for all of the band's May shows, including dates in the Southeast, as well as, Dark Star Jubilee and Summer Camp festivals. Joel Robinow comes aboard for late June performances and a July tour across Europe. Sears' history stretches across six decades, having been a member of bands with Rod Stewart, Hot Tuna and Jefferson Starship among others.

1969 marked a year that was full of both trepidation and excitement for Stax Records. Just one year before, the Memphis soul outlet ended its relationship with musical giant Atlantic Records, effectively leaving the label as an independent entity, without a music catalog (which had previously included a formidable collection of hits by Otis Redding, Carla Thomas and Sam & Dave, among others).
