Elektric Voodoo

Scott Tournet, the multitalented musician and former co-founder of Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, is back with a new creative endeavor that delves deep into his life experiences and musical inspirations. "Rock & Roll Stories," his latest album, takes listeners on a compelling journey through his adventurous life and reflects his profound musical evolution.

Elektric Voodoo, the Afrobeat-inspired psych dance-rock ensemble founded by Scott Tournet, just released the music video for their title track “Telescope.” Already being hailed by the press like Glide Magazine who stated, “Telescope encompasses a sonic parade of drums, horns, and guitars with a shake-up the masses mission.” The music video filmed by Michael Cacciabaudo perfectly captures the intimate recording session and vibe.

During the time of a massive pandemic, global warming awareness, and rampant school shootings comes an album with a glimmer of hope. Elektric Voodoo presents their newest album Telescope due out August 20th. The new album is an eclectic mix of driving rhythmic textures and influences that create modern global soundscapes set against thought provoking lyricism. The new album will be released digitally, available everywhere you stream music, and on vinyl.

Scott Tournet’s new ensemble of psychedelic cowboys, Elektric Voodoo, has released an ambitious self-titled debut album that evokes the cinema of the American West through a cosmic lens.
