Jean-Michel Jarre and special guest Sir Brian May electrified the Bratislava, Slovaki skies last night with Bridge from the Future, the opening concert of the seventh edition of STARMUS Festival. In association with ESET, a global leader in digital security; the electronic music pioneer conceived this one-off futuristic staging installation, hosting the live performance set against the stunning backdrop of the SNP (UFO) Bridge.

Jean-Michel Jarre announces an exceptional one-off live concert, Bridge from the Future, the opening event of this year’s STARMUS Festival. In association with ESET, a global leader in digital security, the electronic music pioneer will perform live at Incheba Bratislava, Slovakia on May 12 - against the stunning backdrop of the SNP (UFO) Bridge. He will be joined on stage by special guest Sir Brian May.

Gibson, the iconic and leading global instrument brand, has shaped sound across generations and genres of music for over a century, becoming one of the most relevant, played, and loved music brands around the world. Today, February 22, Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Sir Brian May, James Bay, Rosie Frater-Taylor, and more Gibson artists joined the Gibson team and fans to celebrate the opening of the Gibson Garage London, which officially opens to the public on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

It might be a musical stretch to even think of the British rock-pop band Queen and U.S. folk-rock singer John Sebastian in the same thought bubble. But it’s really an ironic numbers thing about them both that just came to mind. As Sebastian once sang in a Lovin’ Spoonful song, “there’s thirteen-hundred and fifty-two guitar pickers in Nashville.” And, of course, there aren’t that many Queen tribute bands in the world.
