MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the first round of artist additions for 2023. Taking place April 27-30, 2023, on the campus of Wilkes Community College, MerleFest 2023 will feature performances from North Carolina’s favorite sons The Avett Brothers, country mega-star and Highwoman Maren Morris, the genre-weaving cultural collective Black Opry Revue. Also joining the lineup are award-winning MerleFest veterans Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Peter Rowan, and many more.

International Bluegrass Music Hall of Famer Sam Bush is releasing “Radio John,” the only original track off his upcoming tribute album Radio John: Songs of John Hartford. The full LP will be available on November 11th via Smithsonian Folkways Recordings.

On November 11, International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame member Sam Bush will pay tribute to his longtime friend and collaborator John Hartford on Radio John: Songs of John Hartford.

The String Cheese Incident’s all-inclusive weekend in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, just turned up the heat. In addition to the legendary Sam Bush and his band, Maddy O’Neal, Denver’s own electro-soul treasure has been added to the weekend.  Maddy will be carrying the vibes deep into the late night and will help keep the party going throughout the weekend. Speaking of late-night - Jason Hann will be lighting up the Jewel pool again this year with a late-night disco party set!

On October 8th and 9th, incredible music and breathtaking caves come together to create the first-ever CaveFest. Featuring headlining acts Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, and Yonder Mountain String Band the inaugural festival will take full advantage of what The Caverns has to offer above and below ground.

Few bands stick around for thirty years. Even fewer bands leave a legacy during that time that marks them as a truly special, once-in-lifetime type band. And no band has done all that and had as much fun as Leftover Salmon.

Telluride Bluegrass, a bucket list festival for artists and music fans alike, is pleased to announce the final two artist additions to its already stacked 49th annual festival lineup which takes place June 16-19 in Telluride, Colorado: Elephant Revival will perform on Saturday and Sihasin featuring Jones Benally will perform on Friday.

Earl Scruggs Music Festival has announced the full lineup for its inaugural event taking place September 2-4, 2022 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina. Joining previously announced headliners Jerry Douglas, The Earls of Leicester and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band this Labor Day Weekend will be American banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck performing with his GRAMMY-nominated My Bluegrass Heart ensemble which includes Billy Contreras, Jacob Joliff, Justin Moses, Mark Schatz, and Bryan Sutton.

Closing out February, Fort Collins’ premier venue Washington’s brought back yet another living legend to the front range of Northern Colorado. Innovators of bluegrass and beyond, Sam Bush and his incredible band, consisting of Steve Mougin on guitar, Wes Corbett on banjo, Todd Parks on bass, and Chris Brown on drums, performed an extensive set that left many impressed, ecstatic, and in the end, exhausted but still wanting more.
