Fresh off the inaugural Mad Decent Boat Party, Toronto's Grandtheft claims the throne as the remix maestro of 2014 with his latest, "Hereos" by Alesso featuring Tove Lo.
We got back from our Midwest tour a couple weeks ago with high hopes, bags full of dirty clothes and a hard drive full of sound files. We recorded every show on the run, and we’re going to put out a live album from what we got.
The Heavy Pets have released Stolen Smile, the third in a series of self-produced EPs the band has been working on amidst their rigorous tour schedule, which recently surpassed 1,000 performances. Following the success of the first two in the series, Two Horses and Rags and Aces, the Pets stuck to the same formula of tracking and mixing close to home at South Florida’s Power Station Recording Studios.
As we feel the weather changing around us, and we realize that Thanksgiving is in the air, we also must celebrate a few other traditions, like revisiting the Last Waltz, or listening to Arlo Guthrie’s “Alice’s Restaurant” on Thanksgiving Day. In Colorado, we now have another tradition around this time of year, invented by the minds of J2G Productions. In the spirit of the Last Waltz, we have our own all-star jam called the Dance Party Time Machine. This machine, escorts the audience through a timeless tale of dance music through a sixty year period.
