Canadian rock’n’roll survivors Lions in the Street are back with a free self-produced EP of their Stones and Faces-inspired, ramshackle rock, downloadable at www.lionsinthestreetband.com.  Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) and Mark Rains (Shooter Jennings, Rival Sons) mixed the EP.

Burton Cummings, lead singer of the original The Guess Who and successful solo artist is set to tour the US this September, marking his 60-year-anniversary of making and releasing music. The tour starts September 13 in Deadwood, South Dakota at Deadwood Jam. Tickets for the tour are available to the public on March 8 at 10 AM local time.

The 11th annual WinterWonderGrass Steamboat wrapped up yesterday in Steamboat Springs, CO to three days of sold out crowds. WinterWonderGrass has established themselves as a premier festival in the roots, bluegrass and Americana scenes and over the years has featured bands on the cusp of monumental career milestones including Grammy-winning acts Molly Tuttle, The Infamous Stringdusters, The War and Treaty, to name a few.
