Portland’s favorite Grateful Dead tribute outfit, Caught Dead Handed, returns to the lush vineyards of Redgate Winery on Friday, June 14, for a free, all-ages (21+) evening of blazing hot jams. From 6:00 to 9:00 PM, the band will transport guests on a psych-folk journey through the Dead’s most beloved anthems, perfectly paired with Redgate’s award-winning wines and the rolling hills of Independence, Oregon.

Now five years into their mission of keeping the Dead’s spirit alive, Caught Dead Handed has earned a reputation for faithful renditions of classic tunes, spirited improvisations, and an infectious energy that brings fans—especially Grateful Dads—to the dance floor. Whether you’re a lifelong Deadhead or discovering the magic of Jerry and company for the first time, this Father’s Day weekend kickoff promises something for everyone: from sweet Magnolia rosé sips under the setting sun to the full “Dark Star” experience echoing across the vineyard.
