deadmau5 Confirmed to Perform on the GRAMMYs This Sunday

The Recording Academy has announced today electronic music producer deadmau5 (pronounced ‘dead mouse’) will perform on the 54th Annual GRAMMY® Awards telecast this Sunday, February 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.   He will join Foo Fighters, David Guetta, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne for a special performance, marking the first-time ever electronic music will be spotlighted on the show.  The producer and performer is nominated for three GRAMMY Awards including Best Dance/Electronica Album for his critically acclaimed LP 4x4=12 (Ultra Music), Best Dance Recording for “Raise Your Weapon” with Greta Svabo Bech and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for his stellar remix of the Foo Fighters’ “Rope.”In addition, deadmau5’s MEOWINGTONS HAX 2K11 TORONTO DVD is released today, February 7 on Ultra Music.
