Jake Owen is thrilled to announce his new studio album Dreams to Dream, produced by Shooter Jennings and Jake Owen, recorded at Snake Mountain (Sunset Sound Studio 3) in Los Angeles, CA. The record was mixed by Trina Shoemake, mastered by Pete Lyman at Infrasonic Sound in Nashville, TN, with additional production by Kendell Marvel. Additional recording took place at Gold Pacific Studios in Nashville, TN with Dan Ballard, and assistant engineers Nate Haessly (Los Angeles) and Dannon Johnson (Nashville).

The album features Jamey Johnson on “The Jukebox Knows” and Savannah Conley on “Them Old Love Songs,” with writing contributions from Owen’s longtime friends and acclaimed songwriters Ben Chapman and Kendell Marvel. Dreams to Dream is due out November 7 via Good Company Entertainment.

“Sometimes you need to get outside what's comfortable, what people think you are, or think you should be, and take a risk.” – Jake Owen

Alongside today’s announcement, Owen shared “Long Time Lovin’ You.” The track embodies simplicity and honesty, echoing the easy, familiar country sounds that inspired Owen as a boy in Vero Beach, Florida, when he played Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard songs for his parents. “Long Time Lovin’ You” follows earlier releases “Dreams to Dream” and Owen’s reimagined cover of Waylon Jennings’ “Them Old Love Songs,” recorded with Shooter Jennings.

Now in his forties, Owen continues to evolve from the fresh-faced kid who moved to Nashville two decades ago with a guitar and a dream. Dreams to Dream marks a return to raw, old-school country storytelling rooted in heartbreak, struggle, and resilience. “It really feels cathartic to be honest about a lot of stuff in my life — how I feel, where I see myself going, and how I see myself going there,” Owen says. “Where I feel most comfortable is grabbing my guitar and singing a song that fits my voice really smoothly. I feel like it's more honest.”

Ahead of the album release, Owen will tour the UK with Darius Rucker (September 29–October 5), team up with Dirty Heads for a run of Florida shows (October 23–26), and host his annual Flamingo Weekend in Vero Beach, FL (November 14–16), benefiting The Jake Owen Foundation. About Jake Owen

Jake Owen’s biggest hit is 2011’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” a summery anthem about youth and freedom. In 2025, Owen reflects on how his life has changed: “Now, all these years later, I'm going, ‘I totally grew up. I've totally slowed down in certain ways.’ I've just become a guy that wants to sing songs for people that have also matured with me in my life.”

A chance Instagram exchange with Shooter Jennings led to Dreams to Dream—a bold honky-tonk project that Owen’s friends say reflects his truest self. The album captures Owen’s natural voice and perspective as a seasoned artist, father of two, philanthropist, and co-founder of Good Company Entertainment.

The recording artist and actor has released nine albums, headlined tours worldwide, and appeared in the film Our Friend (2019). Since 2010, he has also led The Jake Owen Foundation, which supports youth programs and cancer research.
