Magic Music - 40 Years in The Making

More than forty years after becoming a groundbreaking jam band on Colorado’s festival circuit, Magic Music has released its first-ever studio album.
Although the six band members now live in different cities, their self-titled debut release effortlessly captures the exceptional musicianship and uplifting spirit that initially attracted thousands of fans in clubs and festivals.
Formed in 1970, the pioneering ensemble played two of the earliest Telluride Bluegrass Festivals and earned one of the most dedicated followings of their generation before breaking up in 1976 – without ever releasing an album.
After remaining friends all these years in 2011,  they reunited for a concert that resulted in the recording of their first album.  Special guests on the project include:   Sam Bush, John McFee (The Doobie Brothers), Bill Payne (Little Feat) and Scarlet Rivera (Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue violinist ).
