The single has been released to radio via the label’s Fresh Cuts & Key Tracks CD and also available at AirplayDirect.com“A Natural Thing” is the first single from the band’s upcoming album, HARD COUNTRY set for release this summer. “I chose the name HARD COUNTRY because I think it really defines the music on this disc. It still has that hard-driving bluegrass edge – then changes into slower paced ballad type songs as well, which really show cases the versatility of this band. It also shows just how closely bluegrass and country music are related,” explained Audie.AUDIE BLAYLOCK & REDLINE are still celebrating their album, I’M GOING BACK TO OLD KENTUCKY (A Bill Monroe Celebration) that previously hit #1 on the Bluegrass Today’s Weekly Song Chart. The album is definitely a sure fire hit with radio with five songs (Cry Cry Darlin’, I’m Going Back to Old Kentucky, In Despair, Mighty Dark to Travel, and Out in the Cold) appearing on a variety of charts. Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine gave this project a big thumbs up saying, “The vocal work by Blaylock and others is topnotch, the instrumental support is right on the mark, and the Father of Bluegrass would no doubt find this release very much to his liking,” with Country Standard Time raving, “Put it on, turn it up, and drift away!”AUDIE BLAYLOCK & REDLINE have several other albums on the Rural Rhythm label including AUDIE BLAYLOCK & REDLINE, CRYIN HEART BLUES, plus two live album projects, LIVE AT BEAN BLOSSOM (with Lonesome River Band, Russell More & IIIrd Tyme Out, Ronnie Reno, Blue Moon Rising, Bobby Osborne and many more) and THE ALL-STAR JAM – LIVE AT GRAVES MOUNTAIN (with the Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Lonesome River Band, Carl Jackson, Mark Newton, Carrie Hassler, Crowe Brothers, Lou Reid and Carolina, and Brand New Strings).AUDIE BLAYLOCK & REDLINE are now on tour including the Old Settler’s Music Festival in Austin, TX on April 21st, Country Bluegrass Show in North Platte, NE on April 26th and many more.
