Wookiefoot—the genre-defying ensemble, 501(c)(3) nonprofit and community-driven phenomenon—touches down at Boulder’s historic Fox Theatre on Friday, October 24, 2025. Known for their self-styled “Short Attention Span Musical Theater,” Wookiefoot fuses reggae, world beat, hip hop, Irish folk, funk and rock into a kaleidoscopic live show that’s as much a circus as it is a concert.
Since forming in 2001, Wookiefoot and its affiliated charity, Be the Change Charities (www.bethechangecharities.org), have donated over $500,000 to international relief efforts. Every September, they invite fans to their home base for the Shangri~La Festival at Harmony Park in southern Minnesota—a global conscious gathering that embodies the band’s ethos of unity, creativity and compassion.
Onstage at the Fox, Wookiefoot’s nine-piece “Tribadelic Spaceship” will deploy vintage Hammond organ grooves, soaring bagpipes, high-energy horn lines and a mind-bending visual production. Expect dancers, aerialists, puppets, clowns, fire and projection art to collide in a fast‑paced, one‑of‑a‑kind experience that truly has to be seen to be believed.
Supporting Wookiefoot is Denver’s own A‑MAC & The Height, whose blend of hip hop lyricism and electro‑pop flair has earned them a devoted regional following. Together, the two acts promise a night of sonic surprises and communal celebration.
