Railroad Earth are happy to announce the addition of a two-night consecutive run at Charlottesville, VA’s beloved Jefferson Theater on September 30^th and October 1^st.

The Jefferson Theater announcement comes in addition to the previously announced fall tour plans, which include a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre with special guests the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Anders Osborne, hosting at both Hillberry – The Harvest Moon Festival, and Hangtown Music Festival. Loud & Proud Records will release Red White & Blue (Live) tomorrow, July 1.   The album is a recently unearthed live Van Zant show recorded on January 28, 2006 at Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia and is the only concert recording in existence from the only tour by brothers Johnny (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Donnie (38 Special).

The 6^th annual Electric Forest (EF) festival returned to its home in the forest of Rothbury, Michigan this past weekend welcoming 45,000 fans to experience live music, incredible art installations and the magic of the enchanted Sherwood Forest.

In 1940s Texas, if you wanted to court a girl after a long day on the Texas oil rigs, you sought out the nearest dancehall. Dusty, gin-soaked, and boisterous, the hall was driven by the Western Swing it bore; jazz, blues and swing standards melded with cowboy songs and electrifying old-time fiddle tunes. Legendary fiddler and band leader Bob Wills was king in this world and the dancehalls and theaters of Texas were buzzing with great fiddlers and singers, creating a new sound that would define Southwestern roots music for decades to come.
